I often notice the difference in abilities to use &quot;voice&quot; when I am chatting online. Some people sound flat and abrupt via IM, while others manage to convey the nuances of their normal delivery in nothing but 27 letters and a handful of punctuation marks. It&#039;s pretty impressive when done well.
