And Brendan, the subject of your phrase is &quot;more,&quot; so the correct expression is &quot;more has passed&quot; not &quot;have.&quot;  &quot;Weeks&quot; is merely the object of the preposition &quot;than&quot; and is not part of the subject-verb agreement.
