Recommend me a book of poetry

Hi all

I'm wondering if someone has some recommendations on a book or books of poetry. I have a 12 month old son, and I'm looking forward to the time when I'm going to be able ot read to him at bedtime, and, after taking Neil Gaiman's recommendation to read his poems in Smoke and Mirrors and Fragile Things outloud I had tremendious fun, but I have to admit to having no ideas on other poetry out there.

So, taking Gaiman's peoms as a topical start, where would you point me on other writers?
