Hi everyone, my name is lily and i am just glad to have come across this website because i know i will learn a lot from the posts and forums here. I used to have an inferiority when it comes to expressing myself in the English language. Something happened when I was a kid which made me fear any encounter with a foreigner. But now that I am 42 years old and trying to get a better life for me and my family, i am now beginning to overcome this fear...and what better way to get in touch/encounter with foreigners than to join this kind of forums. I hope to gain more from this effort and maybe be able to share what i know as well. Thank you all and have a nice day. :-)

Hi Lily.

Practicing is the best thing to overcome that fear.

Good luck on your journey to master the English language!

Lily~Intelligent people aren't bothered by non-native speakers who put forth the effort to learn English, but are instead inspired by them. English is a wacky language, difficult to learn. Besides that, some of us really enjoy listening to those with accents and interesting ways of phrasing their thoughts. So, speak right up!

Hey, Lily.

In my experiance, the non native NEglish speakers are usually the ones who have a better grasp of the language than those of us born to it.

Good luck on your journey!
