A lot of people confused between these two words.
Do you use them correctly everytime?
Advice is noun and advise is verb.
Eg - You should heed your parents' advice.
You are advised to get your grammar right to be a better writer!

There is a difference in spelling too:
Advice and advise are pronounced differently. The c in advice has the sound /s/. The s in advise has the sound /z/.

I don't understand why people struggle with advice/advise and device/devise when they are pronounced differently, at least in BrE.
The bigger problem is with licence/license and practice/practise (not a problem for the Americans amongst you) where the same noun/verb distinction applies to the spelling, but the variants sound the same.

American and British English agree on these two. They are pronounced differently. Unfortunately, the teaching of English in US schools is in deep decline. Points of grammar, usage, and pronunciation that were drilled by teachers in the 50s and 60s are barely touched upon by a new generation of teachers to whom drill and close study are anathema.
