Controlled substances

I'm curious to know if anyone has found any success or inspiration while using a "controlled substance". Sometimes when i'm drunk I can just write and write. Sure the stuff needs revision but it gets it down and it usually makes a good bit of sense. I also kinda like to get baked when I write it kind of relaxes and loosens me up.

I like to indulge now and again but if I happen to scribble something it's weak 95% of the time. Kind of like trying to play saxophone with no hands.

personally, the risks of doing anything in that area are far too great just for a couple extra pages of words.

I'm not talking about anything hardcore because I'm not into anything other than weed and booze but I guess some would say weed is bad, and well who hasn't gotten drunk now and again.
