I'm looking to change this sentence from passive voice to active voice. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for your help. The section that is underlined is the part that is making this sentence passive voice.
Socially competent young children have been described as “those who engage in satisfying interactions and activities with adults and peers”

Two ways to do it:
1. Name whoever it is that is describing the children. Ex. According to the Bureau of Child Development, socially competent young children are "those who engage...." or Dr. John Jones describes socially young children as "those who..."

2. Just plunge in and make the statment. Ex. Socially competent young children are "those who engage...."
