Having already replied on one or two issues brought up in other spots on this forum, I thought I would say hello to everyone on this wonderful forum.
I am Luke and have spent an adult lifetime reading and writing about what I've read. I find myself consistently aghast at how supposedly professional speakers and writers express themselves (latest peeve: use by TV weatherpeople of "seasonal" when they mean "seasonable").
I started out as an English major in college, but had to settle for studying literature in independent studies classes, since I eventually received a degree in finance. I currently work for a publishing company in Colorado, love being around books and bookish people, and think your forum is fab.
