Forum vs. Forums / Archive vs. Archives

This is dilemma that puzzles me.

What is the correct way to write it, forum or forums? Archive or archives?

The plural of forum should be fora, from the Latin, right?

So why do you see so many "online forums" out there?

Also, a forum is already a collective place for discussion. Even if it has many sections, why would you want to pluralize it?
