A seemingly minor detail: my organization recommentds to spell colocated with a single L, but MS Words and Google consider this an error. Dear Broken Pens, what do I do?

(I know this forum is not called Broken Pens, but isn't that a nice name?)

Broken Pens, Fal...? I like that...

Colocation means: to live/share the same place, or for groups to live in the same place (co-lo-ca-tion)

Collocation means: setting two items together, or to arrange them in a particular order. Linguists also use a corpora to collate words that commonly appear together e.g. 'football' goes with 'field', but it also goes with 'boot' etc...
(col-lo-cat-ed)

Notice the difference between pronunciation of 'Co V col'?

Co (as in co-op) for co-location'
Col (as in collar (a shirt collar) for 'col-location'

It just depends on what your company meant at the time...

Hope that helps...
