Hello there! I found this site from a BBC plug. Looks great.

I am (still) trying to write about my experiences from travelling around Borneo, and living with an indigenous tribe out there.

After 10 years, I am still only a few chapters in, and on about a 12K word count. What can I say - it takes time to process and filter through what I want on paper! Some days one page, other days I can't stop writing! (I prefer to handwrite, then type up)

If my 'book' is one tenth as good as the actual experience I had out in Asia, then I'll be happy! I posted a small part on the 'fiction' thread for those interested, and would welcome any advice - I have no idea what to do with it even when I do finish, other than to give it to my family & friends!

Many thanks, and good luck to all the other writers on here.

Man share your experience with the world.Sounds like you have so much to say so much to offer I sure would be interested to read anything about any indigenous tribe. It seems these days people cast away the ways of the past try to stifle it.I think there could be something to learn from them, through you.I hope you finish it.Good luck M.S.M.

thanks for the encouragement!

As I'm sure many writers know, the trick is to transfer it all into words.

But I'm working on it....!
