well ive always been trying to write a certain story since i was little and ive only written a little bit of this latest one, just really wanted to see what people thought of it to be honest...enjoy :)

Prologue
I’m tied up against a post outside in the cold rain; the rough rope is cutting into my wrists, behind my back. My head is bent; I’m watching my hair blowing in the wind and I’m facing a raging fire. A group of men huddled together looking at each other, deciding on a plan on how to get me to their queen. These men are strong and bigger than a normal man, wrapped in there leather coats they look almost intimidating.
One of the men turn to look at me to make sure that I’m still there. At his gesture I look up at him with my big brown eyes and give him a sly smile. Another one of the men notice this and grabs the guys shoulder.
“Don’t look at her.” And tries to tare his gaze away but it’s too late. He’s transfixed at me. He slowly walks towards me while the other men are trying to stop him. The only person that is holding back is the guy that tried to warn him. Out from his jacket he pulls a small gun and holds it at arm’s length. A loud bang and the heavy man fall to his knees then to the floor, his face in the muddy puddle. At this point my head snaps up to the guy that has just used the gun. I give him the same sly smile, finally get into his mind.
“Hmm you’re a tough cookie to get into. I guess that you have more training, but you’re too late. Have a look around if you don’t believe me.” I let him move his eyes around him to see what I have done. His comrades have also been stopped in mid air, looking like stone statues. Looking back at me, he says “why? Why have you done this? The queen only wants to talk to you!”
“Bah! You honestly think that I would believe you after the pain and misery that I had to go through to get this far? I will save only you so that you can go to your precious queen and give her a message that I’m still on my way, still getting stronger. Tell her I have finally got Cortez himself!” at this point his eyes widen. Suddenly there was a blinding light and I managed to escape.

Chapter one

I look down at the photo in my hand. The people look back at me smiling as though they have a secret. It looked as though it had been a sunny day, but it was hard to tell from the black and white photo. The bride and groom are smiling the most in the middle of the photo. They were not to know that a year later they would have me and then another sixteen years later they would be dead of unknown causes. I put my fingers gently on the photo to tough them and sighed.
An announcement overhead brought me back to the real world. I was still sitting on the largest suitcase I could find in the shop that I brought it. I was on platform eight at Guildford train station waiting for the delayed train to Cornwall. Now that my parents had died, I had to go and live with some friends of the family. They were the only two people in the photo apart from my grandparents.
The train screeched into the platform and I heaved the suitcase onto the carriage. I put it by the doors so that I can keep an eye on it and sat down in one of the seats. There was only one other person in the carriage apart from myself. He sat opposite me, holding a very large paper. For a couple of minutes he looked at me and I wondered what the hell he was staring at. I looked out of the window and he went back to his paper. I could see my fiery red hair in the reflection of the window and realised that he was probably looking at me because of it. Beyond my reflection, rolling hills and houses flashed past me.
