What would be the easiest way to improve writing skills. I have great ideas for writing. My grammar can be quite awful at times. Plus, I at times seem to have trouble putting the right words down to create the perfect visual. I can come up with perfect ways sometimes, but at other times I seem to not be able to find right words or metaphors to do so. What would be the best way to improve my skills with this. Basically what would be the best way to grow the knowledge to say one thing in many ways. That way I would be able to say it in the best form and get the correct visual across

The best way I know is to read good writing. George Orwell is a master of description.

I say, practice makes perfect. There are also a lot of online resources, like communities where you can post your work for critique. Also, if you know anyone who is a really good writer, ask them to give you some constructive criticism.

Good luck!

I would have to say there isn't a wrong way persay. It's an art form and it's true if you paint too sloppy people won't know what your painting is. I agree with both these other people in that practice and reading is the best way to improve. Correct grammar isn't really essential sometimes you have to put a sort of flair and bend the rules a bit. These kinds of things are editiable anyway. Never be afraid to go back and read your own stuff again after some time has passed. I wrote a lot of poems when I first started writing and I find that I use a lot of similes, metaphors and descriptors in peotry. Short stories are good practice for just learning to "set a scene". Good luck!

The dictionary includes not only words, but phrases, idioms and irregular verbs as well as linguistic games and grammar. There's a built-in voice synthesis technology that produces high-quality voice output in multiple languages. You can improve by this and more things are available for writing skills, but you should start from the basics.
