Hello fellow writers.

I'm new to this scene.
Unless of course you count the hundreds of books I have read.
But it's not like you can add that to a resume!

I am setting out on an expedition to write a creative non-fiction story.
It will be my first book; memoir.
I have been a fancy free poetry writer in my spare time.
So this is a little our of my league.

I would greatly appreciate any advice and help along the way.

Thanks,
SD

It is good to see you take the leap from poetry to story writing.I really don't have a handle on what it is you intend to do.I know that you are writing about yourself,so it is hard to give any advice, except to say,go for it! Question everything, explore all possibilities, test yourself, don't quit poetry just expand it,shake the foundations of your own and others moral codes, raise hell!it is your world shape it......Sorry,I kind of went off there.while you do all of this write it down and or record yourself.I hope I can read the story when you are finished with it.and maybe you can help me with my grammar.Anyways, good luck!M.S.M.
