Hello Ali.

Not only we don't mind, but I am sure most people will appreciate to get to know a salutation on your own language.

If someone loves English there is a good chance he loves other languages, too.

Thanks Daniel for you encouraging response, yes URDU is our language but we reserve our right on English as well. Historically... we have been serving the language for centuries- here in in Indo-Pak subcontinent-, I hope you will not disagree when I claim English as my own language as well.

Dear Daniel,

You know you seem like a really nice and open-minded person, I am brought to tears. I have been quite a frequent reader of dailywritingtips.com, and have read what you have commented on and the way you reply to people. I'd just like to say, keep being the great person you seem to be!

Best Wishes,
Mez :)

Marhaba Ali.

Having studied a bit of Arabic and a few other languages, it's nice to see someone on here using other stuff.

And of course English is littered with words of foreign origin, including a huge amount of Arabian stuff (which I always find somewhat ironic with some of the anti-Arabic sentiment which flies around the UK and the US from ignorant people who don't realise half the words they are using were invented by people who they think of as their 'enemy'), so I hope that as some learn more about English by posting on here, we can all learn more about other languages too. After all, the pen is mightier than the sword, and a good thing too!

Peace.

Al
