I just finished reading Bookmark Now, edited by Kevin Smokler. This is the best read I've had in a long time and I'm walking away feeling rather inspired by the experience. I got it for $2 on closeout at Barnes and Noble, but it's such a great book I have to wonder how it ended up there!
You can get your very own copy at half.com for about 75 cents plus shipping. Kind of a shame that it's so cheap, but on the other hand GREAT that it is so cheap because it won't cost you much to pick it up!!
It is full of inspiring essays by authors. There were only two articles that sort of numbed me or didn't interest me, and out of a collection of 23 essays, that's not bad. And Kevin Smokler's introduction was beyond good; I actually went and quoted some of it on my blog a week or so ago (with Smokler's permission, of course).
Anyway, if you can spare the time and the dime, this is a must-have book.
