Hello,
Could anyone please give me some simple but detailed and summarized information about Structralism and the Marxist ideology?
Like, am I right in saying that when we read a story, let's say, from a Structralist 'lens' - would that just entail looking to the structure of the words used in the story, and what words are chosen, and if those words have certain effects?
Also, am I correct in saying that if when reading a story for example, through a Marxists' lens, am I looking for any undertones, whether they be overt or covert ideologies of the author contained within the story? - is that right?
Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
