Verb Use

We're getting a variety of problems in the Common Errors thread so I'm starting this one to corral the questions on verbs.

Just an idea, but it may be easier to create a sub-forum for verb usage if it is brought up frequently. That way the threads won't flood the rest in the Common Use forum and you and your team will be able to easily go through issues as they appear in thread form. I have found through experience that a single thread devoted to a large topic can be very hard to manage. :D
