I've been following DWT for over a year now and never realized there were forums. I just happened to be browsing the site (which I've neglected to for some months) and saw the link, so here I am!
I am currently a student at Sam Houston State University, majoring in history. I made the President's List twice at my last school and I think a large part of that is due to the essays I've turned in. I received an award of recognition for my research and writing on the fantasy creature the troll, and I received the only A in my Types of Literature - Epics & Sagas class on my writings on the comic hero Batman. I've been writing since very young and I love finding new ways to improve on my skills. In addition to being a student, I am also constructing a website revolving around world history (link is in my signature).
As I am working diligently to get my website officially launched, I am writing a lot more than usual. Attaching myself to this community where I can share ideas and learn to become a more articulate writer will greatly help me with my website and future endeavors. I'm thrilled to be here!
